To All Candidates:

Bison Fleet Specialists will be hosting a NCCCO articulating crane school class beginning on March 20, 2018. This course will include all training materials and exams that are required to obtain your Crane Operators NCCCO Accreditation. This is a two-part test that consists of a written exam and a practical exam. Operators should be experienced in operating articulating cranes and should possess basic math skills. A paddle style radio remote control crane will be provided for practical exams. Candidates will be given ample time to practice the course. The Crane Operators NCCCO Accreditation meets or exceeds all of the new ANSI/OSHA rules. Our class will cover both ABC (articulating crane with hook) and ABW (articulating crane with winch) classifications.

03/20/2018: Written test training will begin promptly at 7:30 am and continue until approximately 5:00 pm. We will be meeting at Bison’s Training Facility located on the second floor of our office building. Pastries and coffee will be provided in the morning and lunch will be provided at noon.
03/21/2018: Written test training will begin promptly at 7:30 am and continue until 12:00 pm. Lunch will be provided. At 1:00 pm, candidates will take the written exam. The remainder of the day will be committed to completing practical exams at our facility.
03/22/2018: Practical exams will be held at Bison Fleet Specialists as needed.
Candidates must have a current DOT physical card or be able to attest to compliance with ASME B30 or have a doctor approved physical prior to this class. If a physical is needed, we will provide the form for you to take to the doctor.
Cost: The cost for this class will be $1,350.00 per applicant. This includes approximately $250.00 in fees paid to NCCCO (National Committee for the certification of Crane Operators). Recertification candidate cost is $1095.00. Also included in the cost are fees for training, materials, lunch, and the crane that will be used for practical exams. This money should be paid in full and submitted with written candidate applications to me no later than March 2nd.

This class is limited to 15 applicants, and is on a first come first serve basis. Please call, fax or e-mail me to reserve your spot and confirm attendees. Please do not hesitate to call me with any questions that you have.

Auto Training Seminar - Direct Injection & Air Induction Systems Diagnostics

Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 & Thursday, January 25th, 2018

6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Each Evening

This all-new training seminar is the third in our popular Import series. Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) is simple in design but difficult to diagnose because the traditional shortcuts of swapping out parts and disassembling for inspection are not practical. This is why we have adapted ATG’s ‘High Level Indicator’ approach for ruling out possible causes before parts come off. The same approach applies to induction system diagnostics where repair information is vague, component access is difficult, and feedback loops are not always available. For all systems covered, the approach is first universal, and becomes manufacturer-specific only after the possible cause and tool/test lists have been completed and trimmed down.
