ATG Seminar: Essential Lab Scope Techniques

NEW HANDS-ON SEMINAR:
ESSENTIAL LAB SCOPE TECHNIQUES

This seminar is exactly what every Lab Scope user needs, because we designed it in layers to address questions at every experience level. If you’re already comfortable using your tool, we have some great ideas to help you get more out of your tool (including features you may not know about).

If you understand Lab Scopes in general but need more help with menu navigation and setup, we include tool-specific instructions for ATS, Pico, Snap-on, Fluke, Autel & Bosch Lab Scopes (which will help with other brands, too).

Lastly, if you’re like most technicians, you know the Lab Scope is a powerful tool, but it doesn’t get used because you’re not sure how the setup controls work or how to make connections. We cover that!

Specific topics include:

  • The best time, voltage & trigger settings
  • Probes, adapters & gadgets to access any circuit
  • Tips for assembling test loops & harnesses
  • Trigger tricks for stabilizing display
  • Screen & menu explanations for common tools
  • Setting variations for specific mechanical & electrical diagnostics
  • Why you need more than just presets and ‘autodetect’ functions for diagnosis

We include known good captures and fault examples in almost all of our seminars and manuals. But what we’ve heard from our customers is that there’s a gap between the ability to see a capture and understand, and the ability to connect to a vehicle and obtain a meaningful waveform. This hands-on class solves the problem with simulators, so you’ll use your own (or shared) Lab Scopes to master the skills needed for displaying and manipulating waveforms. Come to this seminar to take that next step in Lab Scope diagnostics – or maybe even the first step!

About John Constantin, Owner
For more than 37 years, I have strived to bring quality service and superior workmanship to the vehicle repair industry in Western New York. In addition to competitive pricing and a knowledgeable staff, our Service Department is second-to-none when it comes to vehicle troubleshooting and repair. When I first started out as a technician, I was determined to identify with our customers, making sure every effort was made on my part to maintain the integrity of Bison Fleet Specialists workmanship, and establish a long-term "care" relationship with each person who passed through our service center. A personal goal of mine was to inform each customer of some basic maintenance steps they could perform to keep their RVs, Trucks, Trailers, Buses, Campers & Cars running at optimum performance levels, achieved by following a few simple guidelines. We have been serving our customers for more than 20 years. Our technicians are light and heavy duty vehicle certified inspectors. Also ASE, and NYS Department of Motor Vehicles Automotive Technical Training Program Certified. We also perform DOT/Hyrail/Crane inspections. In any service business today, time is money! When a vehicle breaks down, it is very important to have it up and running ASAP. Having all of the repairs done at one location can help that process. Bison has the knowledge, capacity and technology in its facility to accomplish this task, so "Peace of Mind" can be yours. "We Are Your Last Stop". John Constantin, Owner of Bison Fleet Specialists.
